SERVICE OVERVIEW
Fiber Optic Installation
- Projects start from Route Survey to RoW and aliasing with Govt authorities.
- Micro-trenching or HDT execution and pipe burial, wherever applicable, are executed Providing Soft Resources on contract and permanent staffing models in Fortune 500 Telecom & IT companies.
- HDPE ducts are laid and Chambers are built.
- Through Fiber Blowing and Air-Compressing OFCs are blown and permanently laid in the ducts.
- Splicing and Terminations are executed.
- Link testing is also a part of some executions.
- Markers are used to mark the termination points.
- Mapping on GIS based tools such as Google Earth for Link updation.
- Re-filling, level restoration and other protective and preventive measures taken.
OFC Network Maintenance
- FRT team consisting of splicer, assistant splicer, patrollers and helper.
- Patrolling is aimed at preventing cable disruptions along the OFC routes daily on fixed stretch
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance is carried out as defined by the SLA / SOW.
- All fibre are tested for the block sections and reported every month.
- Any defects in the fibre and duct or in any of the associated equipments are attended in consultation with the Customer at site.
- FMS stations and the optical equipment installed for alarms are monitored.
- Team initially traces the route, monitors for identification of faults or needs and Test & Measuring activities provide the results and nature of faults.
- Breakdown OFC Maintenance includes 24×7 mobilization of equipment and skilled manpower for fault identification and rectification
- Test link attributes like the splice loss/link loss after the rectification of fault are corrected
- Deployment of O&M teams to carry out Splicing and Termination of Optical Fibre Cable
- Monitoring Units, Testing & Measuring Kits, Route Tracers are the primary components of these O&M activities
